We spent a lot of time preparing for our Poetry Cafe and Friday was the big day! We asked 2 classes to come to our room so we could practice in front of them. Thank you to Mrs. Myers & Mrs. Sanner's classes for coming and listening! Below are some pictures from our rehearsals.

After they read their poems, the students shared the rest of the poems in their poetry journals with their families. They also enjoyed popcorn, lemonade, and the company of family and friends.
Our books that we published came in and we were able to hand them out to the parents who ordered them. They turned out amazing!
Thank you to everyone who was able to come to our poetry cafe! We had so much fun!
