Last Week of School!

The last week of school was filled with fun activities! I can't believe that the school year went by so fast and it was already time to say goodbye to this amazing group of kids! Along with Field Day we had our alphabet countdown activities for letters D-A. Below our friends were making a see saw on the playground with some of the logs.
We had so much fun on Field Day. Unfortunately due to the weather, we were only able to participate in 2 of the outdoor events. Here are the relay races we did outside.
We also played "What time is it Mr. Fox?"
Luckily, we got to enjoy all of the indoor events. Below, the kids are guiding pom poms through mazes by blowing or using a stick.
We also did the limbo!
We played four corners.
We had to use teamwork to pass the hula hoop all the way along our line and then the whole circle while holding hands. We found this to be really challenging and required a lot of patience!

We played musical hula hoops.

The point of bridge ball was to throw the ball between another players legs to knock them out.
By far our favorite part was the dance party! Our alphabet countdown letter for that day was a D also and the students really enjoyed the dance party!
For our letter C day, we used sidewalk chalk outside.
For B we played with bubbles! For A we had an Awesome Movie day but I forgot to take a picture!

We also got to listen to Mrs. Addington's class share their space projects with us.
I am going to miss these kids so much, give them lots of hugs for us! Please come back and visit anytime.
I hope you all have a awesome, safe summer! Have a great time in first grade.
Please take a few minutes to fill out this end of the year parent survey to help me improve for next year. Thank you!
