We had a great first week of school together! We continued to explore our classroom and learn more about the different areas and how to use them appropriately.
We read a lot of different books this week, below are a few of our favorites from the week!

The students also had time to experiment with different materials we will be using throughout the year such as unifix blocks, puzzles, magnetic building blocks, and more!

We also did a coloring activity to go along with our Elmer book! The students really enjoyed the book, and coloring their elephants many different colors!
The students enjoyed exploring the books we currently have in the library area!
We listened to and learned some new songs this week as well! One song we did was "The Ice Cream Song" where they were practicing counting to 10. We also read the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and listened to the song form of it. Ask your child to sing one of the songs for you!
