Last Week of School, Field Day & More!

We had an amazing last week of school. Thank you all for a great school year. Thank you for sharing your children with me. I will miss them all so much! Please come back and visit me!

Mrs. Ball started off our week by finishing reading the last books from the Laura Numeroff series to the class.
We finished reading the Minion book, thank you to Charlie for bringing it in to share with the class. After we read the book, we watched the movie. The students were surprised how they were exactly the same!
I sent home copies of our Kindergarten video to each student to watch with their families. I hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did! I had fun making it and looking back at all of our memories!
For our alphabet countdown this week we finished up with the letters C-A. For C day we used sidewalk chalk out on the playground.
For B day, we played with bubbles at recess time as well.

For A day, the last day of school, we exchanged autographs in our autograph book!
Tuesday was Mrs. Boxley's last day working with our class so she brought in ice pops for the students to celebrate. The students really enjoyed working with her and will miss her as well!
Field day was so much fun on Wednesday! The students had a great time. Take a look at the activities that the students participated in below.
We started off field day by enjoying popcorn and cold water out on the playground. The students enjoyed spending time with their peers and playing outside. Although it was so hot so they enjoyed spending time in the shade!

Hula Hoop Relay Races- students had to work together to pass the hula hoop through their groups and then around the circle as a whole group.
Musical Hula Hoop- students had to stay in a hula hoop as they are removed.

On Thursday, the last day of school, we enjoyed ice pops outside!
The classroom is all packed up and ready for summer!
I hope you all have a wonderful summer! Thanks again for a great school year!
