Christmas Program, Cash Grab, & More!

We had another fun week in Kindergarten! We worked hard in our classroom as well as in Literacy Lab, had a cash grab from our fundraiser, practiced for and had our Christmas program. Take a look below for more details on our week.

Our Focus wall for the week
Home letter about what we worked on for Journeys this week
We have continued to read a chapter a day together from Charlotte's Web and we are getting close to being done. Then we will watch the movie to compare the two!
Students continued to work hard in Literacy Lab as well. They worked on their iReady lessons, practicing letter/sound recognition, basic guided reading & answering questions about what we read.
We also worked hard in our Reader's Notebooks on beginning letter sounds.
Students worked on counting in a tens frame and finding the matching number that shows how many there are.
On Wednesday, we had an assembly for students who sold a certain amount in our fall fundraiser to participate in the cash grab. From our class Ayden & Jayleon got to go up and get some money from the cash grab. We had so much fun cheering them and the other students on!
Thursday morning, we took a bus over to the high school to practice our Christmas program up on the stage. The students had so much fun and they did such a great job!
Our friend Jaxon had a solo in one of the songs and he sounded great, we were so proud of him!
Thank you to everyone who came to support the students in their Christmas Program, we had a great turnout! The kids had so much fun and they sounded great!
Thanks for stopping by to see what we were up to this week.
Stop back next week to see what we are up to next!

Have a great week,
Mrs. Brittany Garrabrant
