Open House

We want to thank everyone who came to our open house to support our classroom! We really appreciate you taking time out of your busy schedules to come visit our room! We started off by having the kids show their families how they make their lunch choices.
Then they showed them their cubbies, where they sit, and the different parts of the classroom and how to use them properly.
 They explored the writing area.
As well as our loose parts areas.
We asked families to fill our bucket with kind thoughts by writing down a compliment or any kind words that they wanted to share with us. We are going to share these with the class this week.
The students enjoyed exploring our "small hands" area with their families as well.
Brady is showing his mom how to use the "Look Closer" area!
They enjoyed exploring and playing in our home living area.
A lot of the parents were very curious how the Promethean Board worked so we showed them some of the songs we sing throughout the day!
It seemed like everyone had a great time and again, we are so glad you all were able to make it! The students enjoyed showing their parents where we learn each day and showing them how to use our materials.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great week!
Mrs. Brittany Garrabrant
