We had another busy week in our classroom this week! Monday we continued our countdown with our R day by enjoying reading outside.
Tuesday the students drew their favorite memories to make a memory quilt for the letter Q.
On Wednesday we celebrated P day with a popcorn party. They enjoyed watching the kernels pop!
On Thursday we wore orange for O day.
Friday, we picked new names for N day. I was Taylor Swift for the day. The students thought it was hilarious when they said, "Mrs. Garrabrant" and I turned around confused and said "I don't know where Mrs. Garrabrant is". Some people chose names from movies, games, other friends in the class, singers or other celebrities, and some even made their own up!
We also discussed what the sky looks like during the day and at night and they colored pictures to show what they learned.
On Wednesday during school, we took a bus over to the high school to have a practice for our spring sing. The students did a great job and sounded so good! Take a look at some pictures and videos below from our practice.

After the show we presented our wonderful music teacher, Mrs. Whiteford, with a gift and flowers for all of her hard work this year!
We read two books this week and shared them both with our preschool reading buddies.
